STANLEY SWEETHEART #92 SHOULDER / CHISEL PLANE

With a cutter that can be positioned flush with the sides and a removable nose piece, the #92 is a versatile combination plane that is ideally suited for trimming tenons, and cleaning up dados or inside corners.

Stanley's update of the #92 is made from cast iron for durability, and it is fully stress relieved and aged before machining. All working surfaces are precision machined for flatness and perpendicularity between the sides and sole. The contoured shape and side finger grips add comfort. Solid brass adjustments make for smoother operation.

Includes a 3/4" wide A2 steel blade that is thicker (1/8"), and hardened to an Rc 60-62 in a controlled atmosphere to increase wear resistance. Blade is ground to 25 degree angle.
