ONEWAY TALON CHUCK SET

 This snappy little chucking system will take care of the majority of turning duties on any size lathe, but is ideal for lathes with a 16" swing or less.

The superior design and performance of the Talon self-centering, 4-jaw scroll chuck permits turning with greater speed, accuracy and safety.

Single-hand key operation and smooth-glide, zig-zag base jaw design make this one of the easiest of all chucks to operate.

The precision machined, 3-1/2" diameter body is heat treated and nickel-plated for accuracy, corrosion resistance, and long life.

The Jaw Sets are case-hardened for durability and profiled for superior gripping with minimal damage to wood fibers. Canada

Adapters - Sold separately. Required to attach the chuck to the lathe. Be sure to specify the correct adapter for your lathe when ordering (see below). Other chuck adapter sizes (up to 1-1/4" spindle diameter) available by special order.

Talon Chuck Set (#17190): Includes the Talon Chuck, the #2 Jaw Set, Chuck Key, 1-1/2" RH Jumbo Woodworm Screw, and 4mm Hex Key. #2 Jaws have an internal chucking capacity of 1-5/8" to 2-7/8", and an external capacity of 2" to 3-3/8". The taper lock design of the adapter guarantees secure mounting and true running of the chuck on the lathe spindle.
