ORIGINAL KELL HONING GUIDE

Though developed to cope with short and narrow bladed chisels or plane irons it can easily be used with standard size chisels as well. The guide has a capacity of 0" to 1".

Depending on the bevel required, blades can be clamped above or below the stainless steel positioning rods.

The solid brass bobbins and Earlite (TM) rollers are turned to within + or - .001" then assembled in matched pairs to assure an extremely high level of accuracy.

A pair of polycarbonate washers are enclosed in the guide to deal with non-parallel chisels.
