It makes saw blade changes more hassle-free than ever.  It surrounds blades then closes down securely with a ratchet style latch. Internal nibs keep the blade from rotating during removal and installation.

Outer tabs prevent the blade from dropping out. Helps keep blade tips from getting chipped and hands from getting cut.
