These semi-rigid, snap-in plastic inserts are an inexpensive way to replace the chewed-up throat plate on your band saw.

Can be custom cut to match blade size, and will reduce splintering and tear-out.

Unlike metal inserts, these won't dull saw teeth if you happen to nick them.

Delta inserts are 2-1/2" (OAD - Overall Diameter) x 2-3/16" (to lip), and fit 14" Delta and similar imports, Shopsmith, Sears 12" (91" blade), and 18" Delta saws.
