The professional quality, Combination-3D Square, is a true hybrid that combines a try square, marking gauge, saddle square, and a bevel gauge - all manufactured to engineer square accuracy.
Mark width and thickness simultaneously (imagine marking all 4 shoulders on a tenon by moving the square just once) - mark over molded sections - attach the included scribe head to the blade to mark lines parallel to the edge - or use the integral, lockable bevel gauge in the stock to capture or set angles.
The 9" long Sheffield steel main blade has been factory set to an accuracy 1/100 of 1 degree for its full length. The laser etched Imperial (fractional) and Metric markings are zeroed at the stock to allow the taking of instant and accurate measurements. The blade also includes reset feature which allows you to re-square the blade to the heel should it get knocked out of alignment.
The swinging bevel blade is laser etched with pre-set angles that can be set, locked and read from either the inside surface or the stock butt. It's two part locking mechanism prevents the bevel blade moving when locked in position.
