Identical in nearly every detail to Crown's full-size cutting gauge, but in a scaled down size that makes it ideal for smaller projects. Even on larger work, some may find it preferable to the bigger gauges.

Excellent for making layouts across the grain, as for cross cutting or dovetail depths. It slices fine lines for precision joints. A brass wedge holds the steel cutter in place.
