Already own a Rob Cosman Marking Gauge? This attachment will upgrade it to Mortising capabilities. It pairs the standard cutting blade that comes on your gauge with a special mortising blade and extension. Together they are adjustable for marking out mortises from 1/4" to 5/8" wide.
The width is set by loosening the set screw, adjusting the cutter position, then re-tightening the set screw.
