The Kapex KS 120 was developed with one goal in mind. To be the best sliding compound miter saw, period. It is the first miter saw with variable speed, enabling the user to match the speed of the blade with the requirements of the material, for perfect cuts every time.

The KS 120 combines large cutting capacity with a compact, lightweight design. With Kapex, you get 12" miter saw capacity in a 10" design. Cut trim molding almost 4-3/4" tall in the special cutting position, or cut rough stock up to 3" thick.

Cut angles up to 50 degrees left and 60 degrees right. The Fine Bevel Adjustment with upfront controls, coupled with a counterspring mechanism, ensure precise bevel placement. Unit is equiped with durable, easy-to-read scales for quick, simple angle adjustment.

The MiterFast Angle Transfer Device (included) eliminates complex angle calculations by copying the angle directly from the wall or workpiece to the saw. Fully adjustable Dual-Line Lasers accurately define the cut area for precise cut placement.

The innovative twin-column forward rail design gives this saw greater precision in an extremely small footprint. The rail forward design allows the saw to be placed up against a wall while being used, saving valuable work space. The small footprint makes transportation and storage significantly easier.

Need to cut a dado or lapped joint? The Kapex’s "trenching" function is locked in and out with the flip of a lever, and a handy knob lets you dial in depth of cut adjustments.

The magnesium alloy base is lightweight, yet deeply ribbed for stability and strength. the rubber feet provide slip resistance when used on the floor, or slip perfectly into the grid hole pattern of the top of all Festool Multi-Function Tables, including the MFT/3 - Kapex.

The FastFix mechanism locks the blade for easy blade changes that can be made in just a few simple steps.

And dust collection? Festool’s engineers have designed the saw to capture 91% of the saw dust when used with a CT Dust Extractor.

MMC Electronics ensure constant blade speed and power, and deliver magnetic braking to reduce blade wind down time.
