7 PC. TIN COATED FORSTNER BIT SET

A lot of imported bits are made from good quality steel, but don’t have the edge holding TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating - or are TiN coated but have poor quality steel.

These bits combine good steel AND the TiN coating to cut better and last longer.

Make precise flat-bottomed holes, half holes on an edge, tilted holes, or overlapping holes to make mortises.

Bits under 2-1/8" are offered in hard to find 1/16th inch increments, and we’ve also added no-slip hex shanks.

Sizes over 1" have saw teeth to eliminate burning.
