Rather than scraping or scratching a mark, like a traditional gauge, the hardened steel, bevel edged cutter on this gauge can slice a fine line both with and against the grain. It won’t wander like the pin types.

The 7" long steel shaft is graduated in both 1/16" and 1 millimeter increments. Internal o-ring keeps the head from slipping until you lock it down. 1-3/4" diameter aluminum head with brass face and lock knob. Imported
