Mirka’s CEROS (Compact Electric Random Orbit Sander) is just half the size and weight of traditional electric finishing sanders, and incorporates a powerful brushless DC motor that is smooth, quiet, and maintenance free.
It uses standard backing pads with a 5/16” threaded mount. Sander is vacuum-ready using multi-hole backing pads with hook and loop attachment. CEROS features digitally controlled dual mode speed control which is variable from 4,000 to 10,000 rpm to provide the ideal finish for a variety of applications. Can be set for a single speeds in 1000 rpm increments or switched to completely variable speed mode.
It has an excellent power-to-weight ratio and provides constant speed under load. The low profile gives enhanced control and allows one-hand operation for less fatigue. It also features soft-start for smooth controlled operation, and an electronic brake to reduce rundown time.
