The Overstrike Protector (item "I" in photo) helps prevent Vario 2000 Axe & Hatchet handles from being bashed, splintered, or broken.  Overstrike Protector for use on wooden Vario 2000 handles only. Not required for composite Helko Tomahawk handles. Germany
