A double edged Ryoba-type saw that has both a rip-cut edge and a cross-cut edge. Has all the advantages of a Japanese saw: fine kerfs thanks to the pull-cut teeth; precise, controlled cutting; and durability from electrical induction impulse hardened teeth.

The chrome plated, 9-1/2” fixed blade is not taper ground, but has an easy cutting 4-Retsume Set-tooth (4 rows of teeth) configuration. Blade is replaceable. The drawn-aluminum, rubber-gripped handle gives it much greater heft than a traditional, rattan-wrapped, wood handled saw.
