SORBY SANDMASTER

The Sandmaster is designed to help turners sand and polish pieces right on the lathe. It will produce a fast and efficient finish to any bowl or platter without creating the ugly radial sanding lines produced by traditional methods.

Powered by your piece turning on the lathe, the head of the Sandmaster rotates at a high speeds, bringing projects to a fast finish, and making abrasives last longer.

Sanding head has a dust resistant phosphor bronze bearing for long life. Made by Robert Sorby. England

Basic Set: Includes Sand Master Tool, and 2 each of the 60, 120, 180, 240, and 400 grit 2" diameter velcro backed discs. Tool has an overall length of approx. 12-1/4". Ash handle.

Note: Replacement packs of sanding discs in both 2" and 3" diameters available separately.
