Kell Skewed Blade Honing Guide - Handles both angled & straight blades
Precise sharpening of skew type plane blades and skewed chisels has always been a bit of a conundrum. The Kell Skewed Blade Guide is an elegant solution for skewed blades up to approximately 2" wide, and straight blades up to 2-5/8" wide. While it handles a wide variety of blades, the spring pin assembly makes this guide especially adept at handling Lie-Nielsen skew blades. Design does require user to make their own wooden blade holding wedge for the guide and, due to the width, may require an outrigger board to
