Miller Dowel Mini-X - A natural, durable alternative to metal fasteners

You might want to call them wooden nails, but Miller Dowels are better. The stepped shoulders make them fast and accurate to install and the ridged pin design gives glue extra holding power that a traditional dowel cannot match. They automatically re-align the mating pieces should they shift after drilling the pilot hole.

Their lateral resistance is very similar to that of a nail or screw. Set them to virtually any depth, sand flush, and finish for a matching, natural appearance. Excellent for drawers, boxes, mortise & tenons, joint pins, cabinets, millwork, wooden decks, flooring, stairs, or anywhere a wooden fastener is appropriate. Mini-X Dowels are 1/4" diameter at the head and can be used in stock from 1/2" to 3/4" thick. USA
