Believe it or not the hickory shaft gives these clubs a 'buttery smooth' touch the others can't match due to it's superior vibration transmission, making it excellent for putting. The hickory shafts are turned and sanded to fine tolerances, but not finished. You do the final fitting, finishing, and assembly.
