Repeated clean cutting of mortises by machine requires top level, production quality tooling, which is exactly what we offer here. Made with a special steel blend that includes an extra clean medium carbon and chromium, these are some of the finest mortise chisel and bit sets available anywhere.
Designed for superior chip extraction and ejection, each chisel and bit is precisely CNC machined for exceptional seating and fit. Chisels are taper ground for easy extraction from the mortise. The Rc-hardness of 52-55 makes them extremely durable, yet they can be easily re-sharpened. Chisels are 5/8" shank and will fit most major brand mortising attachments. 4 piece set comes in a fitted wooden case. The nicest finish of any chisel and bit set we have ever seen.
