First, the jaws are designed to pull cases together - perfectly square. With a huge, deep clamping surface of 3-3/4" x 1-7/8", they are 30% larger than the competing clamp.
The large maple handle has a 10% longer screw travel. And, the built-in clamp stand allows one-handed use and easier head adjustment. To top it all off, the clamp is reversible so you can clamp and spread.
