Rali Swiss Hand Planes
So well designed they effectively eliminate 3 difficulties that most often cause people to avoid using planes at all - tuning, set-up, and blade sharpening. They're literally ready to go straight out of the box. It starts with the flat laminated steel sole. No machining required here. Next, an ingeniously simple mechanism speeds blade changes and depth adjustments. No tools necessary. Last, but not least, the planes use razor sharp, double edged, chrome steel disposable blades. No sharpening required. The cuts? Glass smooth! Made in Chatel-St.Denis, Switzerland
