Taper Lock Adapters - Sold separately. Specify which adapter you need for your lathe (listed below) when ordering.
Stronghold Basic Set (#10550): Includes the chuck, #2 jaws, geared chuck key, 1-1/2" jumbo woodworm screw, and T-handle hex key. The #2 jaws have an external (compression) chucking capacity of 1-3/4"" - 3-1/4", and an internal (expansion) capacity of 2-3/8" - 4". Chuck weighs 8 lbs.
Stronghold Body Only (#32781): Already have a Chuck set? Body only package lets you have different set-ups on separate lathes. Includes chuck key, but does not include jaws, worm screw, etc.
Optional Accessories
#1 Jaws (B) - For small parts like spindles or finials under 1-1/2" in diameter, or bowls with recesses over 1-3/4" in diameter. External chucking capacity is 3/8" - 2", and internal capacity is 1-1/8" - 2-5/8".
#3 Jaws (C) - For large bowls over 12" wide and 5" deep or platters. External chucking capacity is 3-7/8" - 5-1/4", and internal capacity is 4-1/2" - 6".
Jumbo Jaws (D) - For finishing the reverse side of bowls up to 12" in diameter. External chucking capacity is 2-3/4"- 11", and internal capacity is 4-3/4" - 12".
Mega-Jumbo Jaws (not shown) - For finishing the reverse side of bowls. External capacity ranges from 1-3/4" to 14". Internal capacity ranges from 4-3/4" to 15".
Key Extension (E) - Handy for adjusting the chuck jaws when turning large bowls.
